Philips Xenium S706. Inexpensive smartphone with an additional mini-display
Dutch electronics giant Philips has unveiled its new entry-level smartphone dubbed the Xenium S706 . The novelty stands out from the background of many of its counterparts with a small additional display on the rear panel, which can be used to display the date and time.
The new Philip smartphone is equipped with a 6.82-inch TFT display with HD + resolution, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a waterdrop notch for an 8-megapixel front selfie camera.
In addition to the secondary display, the back of the phone also houses a main camera module with a 16MP main sensor, as well as a pair of 12MP and 0.3MP secondary sensors.
Under the hood of the Philips Xenium S706 is an unnamed eight-core chip with a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz. It is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded using microSD cards.
Another distinctive feature of the novelty is a fairly powerful battery with a capacity of 5500 mAh, which promises us a long battery life. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Buy Philips Xenium S706 will be available in three different colors: blue, black and white. At the moment, the company has not yet announced official information about the price and availability of the smartphone.
