The Redmi K60 series may have a 2K display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
Redmi K60 is the name of the next series of flagship smartphones of the Chinese giant and in the past few hours some rumors have emerged on the Net that try to anticipate what could be the main features that it can boast.
As always when it comes to rumors related to smartphones still far from launch, it is good to use the conditional and even in this case the advances will be taken with due caution.
At the moment it is not even clear when the Redmi K60 series could be launched but it is likely that we will need to be patient until the early part of next year.
The alleged main features of the Redmi K60 series
According to the popular leaker Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K60 series will be launched in two versions regarding processors, a MediaTek and a Qualcomm , both made with TSMC’s 4nm production process. It seems almost obvious, therefore, that the CPUs chosen by Redmi will be MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 .
Also according to Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K60 series will boast a flexible display with 2K resolution and a hole in the center at the top to make room for the front camera.
The manufacturer would have decided to devote great attention to the photographic sector as well and the rear camera should be able to count on a 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor (in a modified version).
Among other features we could also find a sensor for fingerprint recognition integrated into the display and a battery that supports a very high charging speed.
Considering that there are still many months to go until the launch of this series of smartphones, we have a lot of time to find out more.
In the meantime, the manufacturer should launch two more high-end models next month, namely Redmi K50S and Redmi K50S Pro . We’ll see.
