Nokia Mobile CEO leaves the company (OFFICIAL)
Very important internal change at Nokia; like a bolt from the blue, CEO Juho Sarvikas has just announced that he plans to leave the management of HMD Global. Who will be the new boss of the company?
Important changes in the Nokia home
After the return of the Nokia Mobile brand via HMD Global Oy, Juho Sarvikas has been the face of the brand for some time . The Chief Product Officer of the Finnish company and VP of the North American division has announced, in the past few hours, that he will leave the management of the company.
The top executive made the announcement on Twitter yesterday , revealing that his 15-year tenure at Nokia and HMD has come to an end. The announcement came as a surprise and led to speculation about the future of Nokia Mobile . The timing also seems out of place considering that HMD Global has a launch event scheduled for April 8, which is less than two weeks from now. The most anticipated phones on that occasion are the future budget phones Nokia X10 and X20 , both with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor.
After amazing 15 years with Nokia and HMD, I have made the tough decision that is time to move on. I'm so proud of what we have achieved together and know that the success of HMD & Nokia phones will continue. Follow @nokiamobile for Nokia Phones news. Thank you for everything 🙏 pic.twitter.com/ZyCIsu7ouV

Furthermore, this news, combined with the announcement of the dismissal of 10,000 employees of the Finnish brand does not seem to be very positive.
Mr. Sarvikas has yet to announce his upcoming appointment as his Twitter bio and LinkedIn page still point to his current positions at HMD Global. However, we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Nokia Mobile isn’t the only manufacturer that saw a senior executive leave this week. Xiaomi’s Chief Financial Officer, Shou Zi, announced a few days ago that he would be leaving the Chinese giant to take on the same role at ByteDance in his hometown of Singapore, the manufacturer of the global phenomenon TikTok.
