Simple steps to recover your Zopo Phone if it went dead during some update and any software issue during daily use.
This guide will help you to flash stock rom to Zopo smartphone but if your phone is not dead you can upgrade or update it with official firmware from zopo ( Firmware download link below) so you can continue enjoying zopo phone.
Note : Do this all at your own risk.
Download below added tools and firmware :
- SP Flash Tools
- Firmware Download ( link will open in new window )
- MT65XX USB VCOM Driver ( Windows xp , vista, windows 7 )
Steps to take with pictures :
Step # 1 : Install usb drivers ( Download link above )
Step # 2 : Download and extract firmware for your phone to easy accessible location e.g desktop.
Step # 3 : Download and run flash tools.
Step # 4 : Click on ” Scatter Loading ” button and browse for extracted firmware folder.
Step # 5 : Select Android_scatter_emmc_format from this folder. Careful with that
Step # 6 : Hit Firmware->Upgrade button and wait for process to complete.
Step # 7 : At last you will get green circle by flash tools.
That’s it.
The only tricky part of this guide is installing vcom usb driver as if you are own windows xp and connect your phone for installing usb driver MT65XX port will disappear quickly but it is ok in windows 7. So be quick in windows xp.
