In this last period, WhatsApp developers are working hard to provide users with an ever more complete and effective instant messaging application for every possible need.
New features have been introduced thanks to the latest updates and more others would now be around the corner: one, in particular, will involve voice notes and status updates .
You can also share voice notes in WhatsApp states
With the passage of time, despite the initial skepticism, status updates on WhatsApp have met with an increasingly constant use by users. Precisely for this reason, the development team has decided to work with the aim of making this tool even more versatile and intuitive so as to favor its growing diffusion.
The latest advances that we have come to know, thanks to the contribution of the always punctual staff of WABetaInfo , suggest important news regarding status updates: soon, in this section it will also be possible to share voice notes which, as per as usual, they will no longer be available after the next 24 hours:
The two screenshots we have just shown, relating to WhatsApp Beta for Android in version 220.127.116.11, refer to the steps to follow to complete the operation. On the left, in the lower area, we can see the key depicting the microphone which, in fact, will allow you to record the voice note. After clicking the submit button, sharing will be completed.
As with any other status update, you will be able to choose the background color. Furthermore, for the voice notes shared in this specific section of WhatsApp, the duration cannot be exceeded 30 seconds (at least in the initial stages of the experimentation). The content will be reproduced automatically and end-to-end encryption will not be missing.
Being a feature under development, we do not have precise information regarding the release times on the beta version and, later, also on the official WhatsApp client but, as always, we will keep you informed on any future evolution. However, let’s assume that users of the beta circuit will be able to use them as early as the next few weeks (except for sudden delays).
