Vivo decided to update the Y52 smartphone released by it back in June last year. The new model, dubbed the Vivo Y52 (2022) , shares many of the same design and specs aside from some minor tweaks.
Vivo Y52 (2022) features a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrops notch for an 8MP front camera.
The main camera of the smartphone has three sensors: the main one with a resolution of 48 megapixels, an 8-megapixel secondary one with an ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shooting.
The Vivo Y52 (2022) is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Smartphone storage can be expanded using microSD cards. Like last year’s Y52, the new model packs a decent 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The phone went on sale in Taiwan in two colors: black and blue. The Vivo Y52 (2022) is priced at NT$7,999 in the Taiwanese market, which is about $251.
