Experts from the DxOMark laboratory tested the flagship smartphone vivo X60 Pro, examining in detail the front camera of the device. Having taken hundreds of photos, experts highly appreciated the capabilities of the gadget, including it in the top 10 premium devices in the “selfie” category.
Vivo X60 Pro is equipped with the only front-facing camera that uses a sensor with a resolution of 32 megapixels (f / 2.45). The smartphone’s selfie module is capable of recording Full HD video at 30 fps. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile platform is responsible for the device’s performance.
During testing, the gadget was able to boast of an expanded dynamic range and accurate color reproduction indoors and outdoors. When shooting outdoors, good noise control and high image detail were noted. In almost all testing conditions, the vivo X60 Pro has demonstrated stable and accurate exposure when recording video.
There were some drawbacks: experts included in their list a limited depth of field, as well as an increased level of noise and reduced detail when shooting in low light conditions. In the same scenario, artifacts and color quantization sometimes appeared in the images. In rare situations, photos showed slight deformation of the face, and in videos, insufficient skin tone detail.
