These Samsung Galaxy phones have a BIG problem

Owners of high-end Samsung Galaxy devices complain of annoying audio problems during mobile gaming.

Samsung GalaxyWhat are the bugs affecting Samsung devices?

Some flagship Galaxy terminal owners have complained of some serious audio glitches on their devices while gaming. While some claim that the bugs started with the One UI 4 update, others have also claimed that it has been around forever . The phones affected are mostly high-end models, here are which ones:

  • Galaxy S10 ,;
  • Galaxy S20;
  • Galaxy S21;
  • Galaxy Z Flip 3;
  • Galaxy Z Fold 2;
  • Galaxy Z Fold 3;
  • Galaxy A52 5G.

Users claim that the audio while gaming sounds rather flat and sometimes even distorted, despite doing perfectly well in all other scenarios such as, as a music streaming app and the like. It was initially thought that Dolby Atmos was to blame, but disabling that feature made little or no difference.

The problem appears to affect low and medium audio frequencies more and is most noticeable on phones with high quality speakers. Wired or wireless earbuds do not have the problem.

Oddly enough, turning on screen recording seems to fix the problem . But of course it’s not the ideal solution as not only is it pretty heavy on resources but it also consumes a lot of storage space. It also reportedly disables 120 FPS on supported games.

A good demonstration of the problem was provided in the video below:

But despite the growing number of complaints, the Korean OEM has yet to acknowledge gaming audio issues on any of its Galaxy devices . There is therefore no correction in sight.
