The Chinese version of OnePlus 9 is much cheaper than the global one

Following the world premiere of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, new smartphones were also presented in China. As is usually the case, the vendor has set prices for the home market that are noticeably different from the global ones. Not in favor of the latter.

 

OnePlus 9 in the 8 + 128 GB version costs $ 582 in China, and the 12 + 256 GB version costs $ 659. For comparison, in the US, the 8 + 128 GB modification costs $ 729, and in Europe – € 699 (approximately $ 826). The European OnePlus 9 12 + 256 GB costs € 799 (about $ 945). In India, the price depending on the amount of memory is $ 689 or $ 757.

The situation is similar with the Pro version. Three smartphone configurations are presented in China: 8 + 128 GB for $ 766, 8 + 256 GB for $ 843, 12 + 256 GB for $ 920. In the US, the 12 + 256GB OnePlus 9 Pro costs $ 1,069. The 8 + 128 GB European variant is available for € 899 (about $ 1063), and the 12 + 256 GB version is available for € 999 (about $ 1182). In India, the same modifications cost $ 895 and $ 964, respectively.

It is worth noting that the Chinese variants of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro differ from the rest not only in the price, but also in the ColorOS firmware instead of OxygenOS and the presence of a two-year warranty from the manufacturer.
