DxOMark laboratory specialists tested the camera of the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition smartphone   and highly appreciated its capabilities, after which the device was included in the top ten camera phones according to DxOMark.

Recall that the main camera of the flagship of the Redmi brand includes four image sensors – the main 64 Mp with support for Quad Bayer technology, the auxiliary 8 Mp equipped with a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 13-megapixel sensor with wide-angle lenses (16 mm), and a depth sensor 2 megapixels. In addition, the manufacturer claims the ability to shoot 8K video at 30 fps.

DxOMark highlighted such advantages of the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition camera as accurate outdoor exposure, fast auto focus, high-quality details, realistic bokeh, neutral white balance and acceptable noise level when using the LED flash.
Also, the smartphone camera provides a decent video recording quality even in low light conditions and shows effective stabilization.

The disadvantages of the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition camera were poor indoor zoom, limited dynamic range, and high noise levels when using a wide-angle sensor in low light conditions. In addition, when shooting video, the image sometimes fell into the red spectrum, and autofocus did not always work accurately.

According to DxOMark, the camera of the device scored 129 points for photos and 101 points for videos, which was 120 points. As a result, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition was ranked tenth in the DxOMark rankings, beating smartphones such as the iPhone 11 Pro Max and OnePlus 8 Pro.
