Tips, builds, combos and strategy
Curated by PorkoArceus.
The long-awaited Scizor finally lands on Pokémon Unite, ready to clash with its sharp claws against anyone in front of it. The new MOBA fighter has a peculiarity never seen before in the game: the possibility to choose whether to evolve it or not. In fact, by teaching Double Wing to Scyther instead of Pugnacarica, the Pokémon will not evolve, assuming a different fighting style from its evolution. In any case, both Scyther and Scizor are fairly simple to use, although the former is much more playable than the latter.
In the upper and lower lanes he moves well thanks to the starting move set that allows him to farm quickly, even stealing the opponents’ wild Pokémon. By reaching level 5, as anticipated, the player can decide whether or not to evolve his fighter, taking enemies by surprise.
Even in the middle lane it moves well: considering the speed of the Fury Cutter move it is able to eliminate the wild Pokémon of the jungle very quickly, so as to climb quickly and be able to help the allies in the lane as soon as possible to pass in advantage your own team.
Strong Against : Cramorant, Mew, Glaceon
Weak Against : Mamoswine, Mr. Mime, Snorlax

Strategy
Initial Phase : During the initial phase it is important to start paving the way and take the lead with the levels to be able to keep up with your opponents. Quick Attack allows us to dodge enemies at critical moments and farm quickly, knocking out wild Pokémon quickly, sometimes even stealing them from the opponent’s lane. If you’re in the bottom lane, prioritize Indeedee to get more experience and take it away from enemies. Once you reach level 5 you can choose to stay Scyther or evolve into Scizor. The choice must basically be based on the rest of the team: choose Scizor if you need more robust Pokemon for team fights; choose Scyther if you want to support the team by taking down individual targets.
Intermediate phase : the importance of the intermediate phase of the game lies in obtaining the objectives: help your allies to protect them. In general, you should get the top lane goal first to ensure you have a point advantage and keep your opponents busy to keep them from entering their base. Taking advantage of this, you can go to the bottom lane and defeat the other objective that awaits you. Always remember that in Pokémon Unite the key word is farm: keep doing it for the rest of the game in order to reach level 9 quickly and unlock the Unite Move.
: Before the legendary main arrives, who marks the last two minutes of play, keep farming, secure your objectives and push lanes. Reaching level 13 before the final goal arrives means getting a completely updated moveset and high stats, which could be decisive for victory and be useful in the last few fights of the game.
