Samsung to release Android 13 for 11 smartphones by the end of the year

The SamMobile portal, citing its own sources, shared Samsung’s plans to update devices to Android 13 along with the updated One UI 5.0 user interface. So, by the end of the year, the owners of 10 flagship devices and one mid-range model will receive the latest OS.

Based on the available data, the following Samsung devices will be updated to Android 13 before the end of this year:

  • Galaxy S22
  • Galaxy S22+
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra
  • Galaxy S21
  • Galaxy S21+
  • Galaxy S21 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Fold4
  • Galaxy Z Flip4
  • Galaxy Z Fold3
  • Galaxy Z Flip3
  • Galaxy A53

At the moment, firmware based on Android 13 with One UI 5.0 user interface is already being tested, but Samsung has not announced the release date for the stable version. Note that starting this year, the South Korean company has promised to release four major updates for its flagships and mid-range devices, and roll out security patches within five years from the date of release. Last year’s flagships also fall under this decision.
