Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + are starting to receive April 2019 security patches in Europe through a new software update. The new G960FXXS3CSD1 and G965FXXS3CSD1 firmware have been released from Germany and require a download of just over 110 MB.
According to the changelog , there should be no other news with the exception of the April 2019 security patches, the latest released by Google. As explained by Samsung in the usual monthly appointment , the new patches go to correct 26 Android vulnerabilities, to which are added 15 specifications for devices of the South Korean manufacturer (EVS).

The update should reach the other variant of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + within a few days, so keep an eye on the specific item in the system settings. To manually check you can go to settings , software updates , download and install .
