Samsung Galaxy S22 + SM-S906U on Snapdragon tested in benchmark

In the Geekbench database, a test report has appeared for the yet unannounced Samsung flagship based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor. Unlike earlier tests , this time the mobile platform showed a much higher level of performance.

The smartphone with the code number SM-S906U managed to score 1163 and 2728 points in the single- and multi-core test, respectively. At the same time, the early result of the Galaxy S22 + based on the Exynos 2200 chip is still higher: the European version of the flagship ” knocked out ” 1073 and 3389 points in the benchmark, respectively.

According to available information, the Snapdragon 898 processor will receive one “large” Cortex-X2 core, three efficient and four energy efficient. The graphics accelerator Adreno 730 will be responsible for the multimedia capabilities of the platform. It is expected that a similar processor will be used in the Galaxy Tab S8.

According to insider reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 with a Qualcomm chip will be introduced to the US and China markets. The European version of the device will work on the basis of Samsung Exynos 2200.
