Rumor: All Pokémon that will return to the Scarlet and Violet Pokédex

There is now just over a month to go before the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and fans are increasingly eager to learn more about the next Game freak titles.

In particular, many can’t wait to know if their favorite Pokémon have been included in the new games (we already know that Scarlet and Violet will not contain all the pocket monsters ). Today, however, these questions could finally find (almost) definitive answers .

A fan was able to decipher the image of the Scarlet and Violet Pokédex just published by Riddler Khu and thus discovered the list complete with the old Pokémon that will return to the Paldea region .

A few days ago Khu had published a mysterious image depicting a file on the desktop of his computer entitled ” gen9pokédex “, accompanying it with the words ” final version “.

This immediately made all of the leaker’s longtime followers guess what that file contained: the list of all the old Pokémon that were included in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

A few months ago Khu had in fact used the same method to anticipate the new legendaries , showing this file on the same screen but only partially visible.

Spotted this image on the leaker ‘s profile , many fans immediately tried to enlarge the image, to try to guess the contents of the file, although initially with poor results.

After a few hours, however, someone finally managed to achieve a convincing result and posted it on his Twitter profile. So here is the image created by @palkiaorigin and the Pokémon Code Cracking Server , containing all (or almost) the evolutionary lines of the other generations that will be present in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Pokédex .

The image is obviously characterized by a minimum margin of error, estimated at 5% by the same author. Despite this, however, he is strongly convinced of the results obtained with this reconstruction operation and, in fact, even Khu himself has confirmed that, although there are some errors, it is substantially correct .

Having certified its (almost total) veracity , we now briefly explain and analyze the content of this image.

It only shows the final evolutions of each evolutionary line, divided according to the generation of belonging. Salazzle should then be added to the list , theoretically present in the new games according to Khu, but not identified in this sheet.

The last line contains all the Pokémon not present in the game, but immediately transferable through Pokémon Home .

Among these we find, along with some legendary and mysterious , all the Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus , the starter Pokémon of the Hisui region , those of the sixth and the line of Charizard( Venusaur and Blastoise seem to be left out ).

So, if you count previous evolutionary stages and the Salazzle line, excluding the last line, you get to 297 total Pokémon. Instead, the transferable Pokémon are more than 40 .

Khu, however, did not limit himself only to anticipating the number of old Pokémon present in Scarlet and Violet: he later announced how many new Pokémon will be present within the ninth generation titles, or 103 .

So, as summarized by this @CentroLeaks tweet , the total number of Scarlet and Violet Pokémon will be 400 , 103 of which will be new, while the remaining 297 will be from previous generations.

To these must then be added the over 40 Pokémon that will be transferable only through Pokémon Home.

Obviously none of this information has been officially confirmed . We will therefore most likely have to wait for the release of the games to fully know the Pokédex of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
