Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G 5G Mobile Platform announced

It is a chipset that uses 5nm process technology for mid-high mobile terminals.

It is designed to provide powerful AI (artificial intelligence) performance and excellent cameras, and will be able to implement premium features.

The CPU is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU that supports 64 bits.

The maximum operating frequency is 2.4GHz.

The DSP uses the Qualcomm Hexagon 770 Processor.

On-device display resolutions and refresh rates are up to 144Hz in FHD +.

The ISP uses the Qualcomm Spectra 570 image signal processor, which supports up to 192 million pixels with a single camera.

The Bluetooth and WiFi subsystems are equipped with Qualcomm FastConnect 6900.

Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax (2.4GHz / 5GHz / 6GHz) are available.

The communication modem is integrated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X53 5G Modem-RF System.

The communication system supports NR / LTE / W-CDMA / CDMA2000 / GSM system.

The NR system of the 5th generation mobile communication system (5G) is dual mode 5G that supports both stand-alone (SA) configuration and non-standalone (NSA) configuration.

The frequency corresponds to FR1 in the sub 6GHz band, the maximum bandwidth is 100MHz, and 4×4 MIMO can be used for downlink.

The maximum downlink communication speed is 3.3 Gbps.

It also supports dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS), which dynamically shares frequencies with the LTE system of the 4th generation mobile communication system (4G).

The first commercial mobile device to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G 5G Mobile Platform will be commercialized in the second quarter of 2021.
