Night mode in Google Pixel 7 more convenient and functional [PHOTOS]

One of the few differences between the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro from its predecessors was a slightly redesigned night mode. If earlier the user relied solely on automation, then new devices have more control over this process.

Prior to the Pixel 7, Google smartphone owners could only turn night mode on or off. When activated, the camera takes a series of pictures for several seconds, and then combines them into one frame.

In the new products  , the night mode works faster , and there is also the ability to control shutter speed, which was not the case in previous models.

If the camera thinks the shooting conditions are too dark, the Pixel 7 automatically turns on night mode (on the Pixel 6 and earlier it had to be activated manually).

At this point, a slider appears that gives you a choice: turn off night mode completely or set the maximum shutter speed possible to make the frame even brighter. Everything works exactly the same as on Apple smartphones.

True, Google does not allow you to choose intermediate exposure options: only automatic or maximum.
