Motorola Moto Edge (2022): the specifications of the new midrange are online

In these hours we learn that Motorola is working on a new medium-high-end smartphone. The device in question is called ” Edge (2022) ” but it is a provisional moniker given by the media. Anyway, by reading the leaked specs on the web, we learn that this appears to be the famous product with model number Dubai +.

We read that the American OEM owned by Lenovo is developing the Moto Edge (2022); today, thanks to the information shared by the tipster OnLeaks, in collaboration with the 91mobiles Indian portal, we find out what the technical specifications of the same and its related CAD renderings will be.

Let’s start with the screen: the phone seems to have a display with reduced bezels but with a pronounced chin. We note a hole for the selfie cam and a back cover with curved edges, Motorola logo in the center of the same and three sensors with dual LED flash, all set in a rectangular module.

On the lower frame there is a grid for the speaker, a USB C port, a slot for the SIM, the volume rocker and a button for turning it on and off.

The midrange appears to have dimensions of 160.8 x 74.2 x 8.2mm. The panel should be a 6.5-inch pOLED unit with Full HD + resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. The processor will be made by MediaTek and will be composed as follows:

  • two 2.6 GHz Cortex A78s;
  • six 2.0 GHz Cortex A55;
  • a Mali G79 GPU.

There will be 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory; the battery, on the other hand, should be 6000 mAh. Unknown reload speed.

On the photographic front, however, let’s mention the presence of the 32 Mpx selfie cam and three optics divided as follows: 50 + 13 + 2 Mpx, all with OIS.
