Now it’s official: the new Motorola Moto X30 Pro (aka Edge 30 Ultra for the international market) will truly feature 125W fast charging. Here’s what we expect.

The American OEM owned by Lenovo has just unveiled the debut date of its new flagship: it will be called Moto X30 pro or Edge 30 Ultra, it will arrive on August 3 and will be the first phone to feature a 200 Megapixel main camera. Today then, Lenovo’s GM Chen Jin has just reiterated what the fast charging technologies of the new premium terminal will be. There will be support for the 125W wired fast charge.

Under the body instead, we will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor , assisted by fast memories and high-performance RAM banks. As mentioned, we will be unveiled (in the coming weeks) with the Edge 30 Ultra moniker .

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra: What Do We Know?

If you remember, Edge 30 Pro had 68W charging support while this will be even faster in charging. However, the battery should now be smaller: 4500 mAh versus 5000 mAh of the previous model. It will also support wireless fast charge. The screen will then be a 144 Hz P-OLED FullHD + unit with a size of 6.73 inches. As mentioned, there will be a 4 nanometer performance processor, 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

At the front we could find a 60 Mpx selfiecam and at the back instead a 200 Megapixel main camera, with 50 Mpx ultrawide and 12 canvases in tow. Among other things we will find Android 12 and MyUX 4.0 skin. There will be an in-display fingerprint. During the launch event on August 3 we should also see the next generation Razr (2022). It too will have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a clamshell form factor (as always) and new materials. The fold also seems to have improved, but it’s too early to tell today.
