Moto G50 is official: 5G, super battery and triple camera

After the numerous rumors of recent weeks, Motorola has finally raised the curtain on the new Moto G50 , confirming some of the information leaked on the Net before the launch . It is an affordable 5G smartphone designed to last a long time. With its 5,000mAh battery, the Moto G50 offers up to two days of battery life, according to the company.

Features of Moto G50

Moto G50 is equipped with a 6.5-inch Max Vision IPS display with HD + resolution (720 x 1600 pixels). Under its body hides a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage space, expandable with microSD up to 1 TB. The photographic sector focuses on a triple external camera with 48 MP main sensor(f / 1.7) and Quad Pixel technology, accompanied by a 5 MP (f / 2.4) Macro lens and a 2 MP (f / 2.4) depth sensor. The internal camera, on the other hand, is 13 MP (f / 2.2) and supports different shooting modes: HDR, Face beauty, Gesture Selfie, Auto Smile Capture, Pro Mode, Portrait mode, Spot color, Cinematographic, Group Selfie and Live filter . It is also possible to record Macro, slow motion, time-lapse, hyper-lapse and Spot color videos.

Moto G50 is complete in terms of connectivity:

it supports 5G , Bluetooth 5.0 and even NFC, offering the user the possibility to make purchases by paying directly with the smartphone, simply by bringing their device close to a POS. The smartphone also has a large 5,000 mAh battery that guarantees up to two days of use and includes a 10 W charger in the package.

The main features of the Moto G50 are completed by the presence of a USB type C, audio jack from 3.5mm, proximity sensor, ambient light, accelerometer, gyroscope and barometer. The smartphone package also includes earphones, a protective cover, a film for the display and the charger (including power supply).

Moto G50 sports a now familiar aesthetic: display with teardrop notch and a slight chin and a rather clean plastic rear body, marked by the presence of the fingerprint reader with the Motorola logo in the center and the camera module. The smartphone is available in Steel Gray and Aqua Green colors and has dimensions of 164.9 x 74.9 x 8.95 mm and a weight of 192 grams.

Moto G50 arrives on the market with the latest version of Google’s operating system for mobile devices: Android 11 . The smartphone interface can still be customized to your liking using some customization tools made available by Motorola, such as themes, styles and wallpapers. The smartphone also supports numerous  gestures  and different display modes to adapt the brightness of the screen based on what you are doing.

Moto G50 will be available from April at the price of 279.90 euros in the variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage space, in the Steel Gray color.
