Microsoft is testing PC Manager, a system cleaning and optimization application

Microsoft is working on a new app that is similar in functionality to CCleaner and other PC optimizers. Several screenshots have already appeared on the network, revealing some of the functions of the new application.

Microsoft PC Manager

Microsoft PC Manager will allow users to perform basic maintenance on their PC.

The app can run a disk cleanup, show you how running applications affect performance, check for viruses using Microsoft Defender, check for Windows updates, view running processes, and manage storage.

Technically users are unlikely to appreciate the company’s novelty, although for ordinary users it may be useful.

Microsoft also decided to use PC Manager for promotional purposes in order to attract the maximum number of users to the Edge browser.

The company claims that using a third-party browser is a “potential problem.”
