Lenovo Legion 2 Pro: Two-year warranty offered by the company

In a Weibo post, Lenovo Legion mobile division announced the aforementioned warranty upgrade for Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro in China. As per post, the device will receive an official two-year warranty from the company itself.

The executives of the brand in fact shared a product page regarding the warranty extension where users can check the terms and conditions of the warranty. Lenovo states that changes to this, if any, will be updated in the website listing.

Speaking of the warranty extension, the company will take into account the date of purchase of the device , or from the day of the generation of the bill for its purchase.

Lenovo announced on April 8 the Legion Phone Duel 2 also known as Legion Phone 2 Pro. The device, therefore, went on sale in several international markets starting the following day. While the global launch (for Europe, Asia Pacific) is scheduled for May, the device’s performance in the durability test has sparked mixed reactions among internet users.

While the warranty does not justify / compensate for poor build quality, the device is aimed at a different audience with a unique design.

And it is good to note that Lenovo has recognized the problem and has provided something to support users. Recently, we have also seen OnePlus give up to 2 years of warranty for the OnePlus 9 series in China.

Aside from the build quality issues, the phone has a unique design and flagship specs. It features a 6.92-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED 144Hz display, Snapdragon 888 chipset , up to 18GB of RAM , 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, dual OmniVision 64MP f / 1.9 main lens cameras, 5,500mAh battery with up to 90W of charging via two USB-C ports.
