Huawei MatePad C5e Ten-inch Android tablet based on HiSilicon Kirin 710A processor

Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei has announced a new entry-level tablet dubbed the MatePad C5e. The novelty is intended for business users and offers a number of specific functions, such as, for example, “Secure Erase Function”, to protect important data.

The Huawei MatePad C5e measures 240.2 x 159.0 x 7.85mm and weighs around 450 grams. It features a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz.

 

To facilitate video conferencing, the tablet is equipped with a 2-megapixel front camera located along the long side of the bezel. In addition, there is a 5-megapixel main camera that allows users to easily scan their documents using the tablet.

Under the hood of the Huawei MatePad C5s is Huawei’s signature chip, the company’s HiSilicon Kirin 710A processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards.

 

The battery capacity of the tablet is 5100 mAh. The manufacturer does not mention any fast charging technology. As for the software, the novelty will come with a slightly outdated version of the EMUI 10.1 shell, which is based on the Android 10 operating system.

 

Huawei MatePad C5s will debut in the only Deep Blue color in the Japanese market. The company has not yet officially announced the cost and availability of its tablet.
