HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro with new Kunlun glass impresses with its durability

One of the Chinese bloggers decided to test the strength of the flagship smartphone HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro. 

The experiment is especially interesting, because in this device, instead of the well-known Gorilla Glass, Kunlun glass, a proprietary development of HUAWEI, is used in this device.

The author of the photos did not publish the process of the fall of the smartphone, talking only about the results of the drop test. 

As you can see, the back glass cover is not just cracked, but literally crumbled into pieces and even peeled off from the rest of the case.

 It is likely that this is the result of several successive falls. At the same time, the camera block and lenses remained completely unscathed. 

The screen remained in perfect condition after the drop test, on which there is not a single crack or any other noticeable damage. 

Apparently, all of HUAWEI’s claims about the strength and reliability of its own Kunlun glass were not empty words. 

True, it is not clear why the company did not use it to protect the back of the smartphone.
