Good news for Samsung smartphones owners : the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + fingerprint scanner is now more responsive.
S10 and S10 + : updated the scanner
Users of the South Korean company’s new flagships recently had complained about the slowness of operation and responsiveness of the fingerprint recognition sensor integrated into their phone’s display. Now, the team of developers of the Asian giant has, fortunately, released a small update that should improve the functioning of the technology.
According to the comments of the first users, it seems that the new version of the software ( V2.0.8.4 ) – which went precisely to optimize the biometric sensor of Samsung’s top-of-the-range smartphone – has actually improved the accuracy of the fingerprint recognition system digital.
To receive the update it is not necessary to download it, because it will be released “on the server side”: at the moment the update seems to have already been released in Germany and Poland, but there are some reports that talk about the implementation even in some models sold in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
We recall some of the main features of the new Samsung flagship, starting from the technical data sheet which includes high level specifications: the SoC is Exynos 9820 , accompanied by an internal memory of 128 GB and 8 GB RAM. Storage space can be expanded up to 512 GB thanks to MicroSD support. The main photographic compartment is composed of a triple photographic sensor: one of 12MP, the other with 2X optical zoom, the third is characterized by a wide-angle sensor. On the front, hidden under the screen, is the 10MP selfie camera, with f / 1.9 focal length and phase detection focus. The battery it is not very powerful, it is 3400 mAh but it is supported by two fast, wireless and standard charging systems.
