Galaxy Fold: Samsung explains it in an infographic

Samsung  is focusing a lot on the new technology that brings smartphone screens to be able to fold on themselves and its first bet in this area is called  Samsung Galaxy Fold , the first foldable smartphone designed and produced by the South Korean company, whose arrival on the shelves of stores around the world is scheduled for next 26th April. A rather complicated device, based on a technology that Samsung has spent years of developing. An absolute innovation that promises to revolutionize the world of furniture that the manufacturer now explains in a detailed infographic .

Samsung Galaxy Fold in detail

The Samsung infographic on the Galaxy Fold describes in detail the features of the device, both when it is in the folded position, state in which the device has a thickness of 17mm from the hinge side and 15.5mm at the other end, both when is in the open position. In this position, the Galaxy Fold features a dynamic 7.3-inch AMOLED display with support for HDR10 + and a 4.2: 3 aspect ratio, perfect for viewing documents. Interesting the ability of the Samsung Galaxy Fold, in a deployed position, to be able to view up to three apps on the screen at the same time. All in 263 grams of weight.

When folded, the screen is a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED HD + , which is rather compact, with an aspect ratio of 21: 9. In the folded position, on the back of the device we find a triple camera, with 16MP + 12MP + 12MP sensors . At the front there is a 10MP selfie camera . Once opened, the Galaxy Fold offers two other 10MP and 8MPphotographic sensors . A complete photographic sector therefore, which in total consists of 6 sensors.

To complete the equipment as a true flagship, there are 12GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, supported by a  Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 octa core processor (2.8 GHz + 2.41 GHz – 1.78 GHz) with 64 bit support. The operating system is Android 9.0.

The battery promises to guarantee a long life, with as much as 4380 mAh , with support for fast charging, both with cable and wireless. The Galaxy Fold also allows, in addition to the usual unlocking modes, also those based on biometric recognition, therefore through fingerprint or facial recognition , and offers support for NFC technology. In the Galaxy Fold package, in addition to the device, the Galaxy Buds are also included .
