Samsung introduced a few hours ago the latest Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20e, Galaxy A40, Galaxy A50 , Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80, six mid-range smartphones that tend to grab the slice of the market that looks at this category of devices. Among these, the most interesting is the A80 equipped with a rotating camera.
Galaxy A80: here is the rotating chamber
Notch-free, the Galaxy A80 is a device that mounts a slide opening in the back: the mechanism serves to lift the triple rear photographic module making it rotate 180 degrees horizontally, so as to frame whoever is holding the smartphone.
The rotating camera by Samsung should be able to offer the same photographic performance as the main cameras even when it comes to taking a selfie and all thanks to the peculiar rotation mechanism. Specifically, we point out that there are 3 sensors : the 48MP main is joined by a secondary 8MP capable of taking wide-angle photos , the third is part of a ToF type 3D system . This translates into high quality depth of field and bokeh effects with natural contours and – according to the manufacturer – well defined.
The South Korean company has decided to broadcast a video on Youtube about the rotating camera, which appears – basically – a simple mechanism to use.
Recall that the new Galaxy A80 has an onboard display New Infinity Super AMOLED 6.7 “ with FHD resolution +. The fingerprint reader is implemented below the screen and the 3700 mAh battery should guarantee coverage up to the evening thanks to the management of energy resources delegated to artificial intelligence : the software – according to what the company declared – should learn how the user uses the phone, thus optimizing the battery. The 3700 mAh is charged with a 25W fast charging system .
