ASUS ROG Phone 5 Design and Specs Revealed by Reliable Source
The recently unannounced ASUS ROG Phone 5 has been spotted in photos and even videos . Apparently, it will not be long to wait for the presentation of this gaming smartphone, because it was certified by the Chinese telecommunications agency, where its images and some characteristics were published.
The images presented partially confirm previous rumors about the design of the ASUS ROG Phone 5. It will have a flat screen with thin bezels, but the top and bottom are slightly wider than the sides. Due to this, the display will not have any separate cutouts and holes for the front camera, which will simply be located in the upper frame.
At the same time, the back side on the renders is slightly different from what we saw earlier. The triple camera is still located in the corner, but there is no additional screen on the back cover. Instead, it probably uses the AniMe Matrix panel, like in the ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop , allowing you to display various information in the form of a bitmap.
It is not yet clear which option will be presented. It is possible that these are different versions, or earlier in the photographs we saw one of the prototypes.
The description of the smartphone on the TENAA website indicates 5G support, a 6.78-inch screen, a dual battery with a total capacity of 6000 mAh and Android 11 as the pre-installed operating system. The dimensions of the device are 172.8 x 77.3 x 10.3 mm. Earlier it was also reported about the Snapdragon 888 processor, a display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and support for fast 65-watt charging.
The presentation is expected in the first quarter of this year.
