4 OnePlus smartphones get their last major update

After a long period of testing and with a delay of almost a year, OnePlus has finally released an update to Android 12 for four flagship smartphones released in 2019. The update includes many changes affecting the user interface and various system functions.

We are talking about the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro released three years ago. For all four devices, the deployment of a stable version of OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 has begun. It is noteworthy that the firmware only includes the Android security patch from August this year.

The update itself is quite large and brings additional settings for dark mode, new features in Always on Display customization, a function to increase the battery life of the Smart Battery Engine, redrawn application icons, and many other changes of varying degrees of importance.

At the moment, it is known about the distribution of firmware in India. It will likely take several weeks for the update to become available to all users. Note that for OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro, this is the last official Android update.
